Downsized from 37's to 35's. Glad I did, the surplus military 37's were hard as rocks and these ride a lot better. They look better too. I think the white lettering really makes them pop!

Now off to Toyotafest. If you're near Long Beach, it's a free show at the Queen Mary. Starts tomorrow at 9am.

Hmmm did you have Goodyear Wranglers? I was thinking about going from 35's to 37's and getting a set mil surplus 37s for cheap.

"I think the white lettering really makes them pop!"

This is precisely the reason I don't use white-lettered tires.

You have a Centurion Bronco. I loved those when I was a kid. And now its rekindled. I love it.

Does the top still come off on the 4 door?

Yep, still comes off. Haven't done it yet though. It's quite the procedure.

I did have the Goodyear Wranglers. They were at the complete end of their service life though, and my only experience with big tires is those, and my new ones. They were hard, stiff, and heavy. I'm guessing ones in better shape are still the same, but they might be a little softer. All I know, is I'm glad I got these. It was a toss up between getting surplus 37's for it again, or these.

I keep, meaning to do a review...I need to get my new shocks on it and the front end rebuilt first. Right now the review woud consist of, it's bumpy, it squeeks, and makes strange clunking noises.

Ooooh that's right! I read that post! Fucking awesome truck, man. If you don't mind, how much did you pay for it?

Good to know, I might spring for the newer mil surplus tires like the Baja's instead of the wranglers. You really can't beat the price vs. civilian 37's
